well depends if you want to get the apps from the itunes app store alot of them are free, others aren't you just go on itunes click on app store find the one you like and click buy, again if is free, you wont get charged, other way to get app on your ipod touch and iphone other than the itunes app store is by jailbreaking the touch, this mean you have to install a not apple firmware that allow you to add thirt party apps, look on the afterdawn section iphone and how to jailbreak, Good luck.
