I would like to know if there is a way to convert some audio books that I have found in mp3 format into a format that I can play on my car stereo. If possible I would also like to save edit them into the seperate chapters. To this point any free editors dont seem to be able to handle this, I'm guessing because of the size. Can anyone suggest some a good program for this?_X_X_X_X_X_[small]metalman[/small]
Hi there, i am not sure if you have an answer to your question yet? I have some info that will be useful. I use a program called "soundforge 6.0" This will give you the ability to convert, cut, edit, burn, add effects, volume change, speed change, and excellent options. The file type to burn in is ".wave" I also use "dbpoweramp converter" you can find at www.download.com you can find free version of sound forge at kaza. if you dont know what kaza is download it at the www.download.com
