okay i got a e815 and i was wondering i got a little bit of water in it and the only thing that does not work is the backlight and the camera if i dont get the camera working i dont care that much now weverything works fine and normall even the lcd but... the back light is done on it i was wondering if i was to replace the lcd screen (which is simple and takes 10 mins) will the backlight work is the back light built into the lcd screen ?
i dont think it is but if you go onto ebay and type in the lcd light for your phone you may be able to buy one. or go to carephone warehouse they will sort it out for around 10 to 15 pounds
they told me i need a new lcd and a new ribbbon cable and as well as a new pcb bored when the only thing that is wrong is the backlight and then i took it apart again and took closer looks at it and the backlight was flickering on and off then i got it to stay on then the lcd started changing colors now it is all back to normall except the backlight is gone again any ideas ?
