I followed the guide by alkohol that you provided, with no luck.after trying to uninstall/reinstall driver I had no change.stays as follows. I also ran my nero info tool it says...dma off, autorun on.I will continue to try and turn dma on. ( I read it may be a nvidia driver problem, must read more on this subject.) my primary ide: device 1: current transfer mode read :not apllicable. my secondary IDE: device 0:transfer mode read...pio only. current transfer mode read...pio mode device 1 current transfer mode: not applicable
I think I fixed, I did not highlight device 0 before uninstalling driver. I only found this out after several attempts and I had to manually restart with no re-boot...and this was not in alkohols thread. Now my nero infotool says dma on.So now I am off to try again. Will keep u posted. Thanks for your help.
