I got a 160GB HD for christmas, installed it, but I don't know how to remove the partition so I'm still running on the last 16G on this POS HD. Any answers?

go to start: rught click my computer: click manage: click disk management: right click on the 160 gig harddrive and select delete partition this will lose all data on the driveso don't do it if you need the data
keep deleting partitions till there are none left
then create a partition will prolly give you about 146 gigs of usable space then tell it to quick format
    thats it good luck:)

You can do a drive copy of your old drive to the new one, then boot the computer to the windows xp CD and go to the recovery console. In the recovery console type fixboot and there is one other MBR command in there to find it just type help. This will write the boot record to the 160g hard drive.
