I hope this is the correct subforum, and pls accept my apologies if this has been asked before. But I've spent 2 hours on google and can't seem to find a relatively painless answer. I own 8 children's DVDs of a particular brand, each with 30 minutes of content. Each DVD's main movie has anywhere from 6-10 chapters. I want to create a single DVD backup, with all 240 minutes of content (and I'm fine with ~ 50% compression). But, I want each DVD to show up as a single chapter (not 6-10) so that final DVD has 8 chapters, one for each of the original DVDs. FYI, I'm familiar with CloneDVD2, DVD Flick, DVD Shrink, and DVDFab Decrypter. Thanks for helping a frustrated dad out. I need to merge these damn DVDs, and navigate easily between them, before I go crazy from switching them out, waiting for menus to load, etc.
Rip eight DVD's to separate folders. Run DVD Styler Locate a 'Directory', highlight the vob's of the title (VTS_01_1.VOB VTS_01_2.VOB if applicable) and holding down the 'Ctrl' key, drag them down to the menu bar. The selection should show as 'Title 1' Repeat for the next directory, you end up with eight titles listed. Select the buttons by dragging eight buttons onto the main window. The buttons default to button 1, 2, etc. RC on a button and select 'properties'and tell the button to 'Jump to' whichever title you want. Click the 'Burn' icon and output to a temporary folder;test menu operation with media player then Shrink or burn as required. http://www.videohelp.com/tools/DVDStyler
