How hard is it to mod the wii with argon and the programmer? The modder i had says that the programmer does not go into the wii and i've read that it does connect to the modchip itself. So a bit worried about going to him to get it modded but it seems like hes the only in nyc i can find that can do it
Hi there, I have a wii with argon fitted. The ribbon cable (that plugs into the USB updater board) comes out of a hole in the gamecube memory card slot on mine, so you don't have to open the wii to do an update. BTW. I highly recommend https://ghost2fitter.co.uk Thats where I bought my wii and a friend is having his chipped there. You can go on the website or their contact details are: Tel Support 9am to 4.30pm Mon to Fri: 0845 2574083
Im not located in the uk. I thought finding a modder in nyc would be easy but its become a real burden.
The programmer doesn't go inside the Wii and connect to the ARGON itself. There is a Flat Cable that is inserted in the ARGON and as stated above is some how brought outside of the case (GameCube or USB port). Matter of fact there is no way of connecting the Injectus (Programmer) directly to the ARGON without using the Flat Cable. If you have heard other wise from another source that it connects directly to the ARGON then you need to stop listing to that source. The modder you referred to above is correct. It does not connect directly to the ARGON. It connects to a Flat Cable.
