help with morgans kingston satellite receiver

    i bought a morgans kingston sat receiver a few years ago from lidl as i thought it might get british stations. however its only set to recieve the astra satellite and is mostly german. someone told me you can update the software to enable it to recieve brit channels. its type is diseq1.0 . any information would be very much appreciated. thanks.

    you wont get any sly channels no matter what you do to the box

    thanks mate il check the link out. its digital with 1000 channels listed. i gotta frequency chart with it and all sky channels are listed along with all other brit channels. thanks mate.

    fair enough but i just found it strange that they would sell a box in britain that cant actually recieve brit channels. dosent really make sense. thanks anyway..

    I believe this box only receives analogue channels.

    The english speaking channels are all broadcast in digital, so you will not be able to receive them.
