I use NTI DVD Maker Gold, which my system burns DVD+R.

Then once I open the DVD-Video part, and open the VIDEO_TS Folder. I write disc at 8x speed.

Then once writing is complete it said on one DVD player by Panasonic that it cannot read disc. The on my sisters DVD player it showed the Video_TS folder, but when I press enter on it there is no Video file inside.

    PLZ HELP!!!

    Thx.

Try some different burning software. ImgBurn is a good one. What type of media are you using? What process did you go through to make your backup ready for burning?

you have to convert your file to dvd compliant format then burn.... I recommend ConvertXToDVD. You can try it out for free but the free version leaves a watermark logo on the video... see if it works for you: http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/
it's a great program and I bought all of VSO software. but..... if you already have Nero then use Nero Vission to convert and burn! There are other programs but these are my favorites for conversions and burning.

also burn with good media, Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, disks made in Japan are the better top notch media around. Burn at half the rated speed of the media... if it's an 8x DVD-+R then burn at 4x..... this will help other drives read your burned media better.

I tried using convert to DVDX but then it just failed on the convert. tried another one called WMV to AVI MPEG DVD WMV Converter. This coverter only burns half your file till you buy it. It gave me 3 files. One with video, one with sound and one with 56 secs of the video.

    This is so confusing.
