First of all remove your NERO srials from your log, Buy editing your post and removing them, (they are towards the bottom of your error file). Hey guys, just passing through and took a quick look at the log. The problem appears to be with Nero's ASPI driver and another required by windows. The log shows...... [bold]1) Here, Nero's ASPI driver is shown as either missing or corrupt.[/bold] ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\Wnaspi32.dll': [bold]Ver=?.?.?.?,[/bold] size=164112 bytes, created 11/2/2004 12:54:32 PM To correct this, download the nero Wnaspi32.dll file from the link provided and put it in Nero's Core folder and then reboot the PC. Your path is as follows; C:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Core\ Here's your link to the file; http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/WNASPI32.DLL.html When placing the new file in the Core folder, if you are prompted to replace the file, click yes. You should also install additional OS ASPI drivers found here. Here's link to force ASPI v1.7, you can download and install all necessary win 2k/XP ASPI drivers here. Follow the directions provided at the site for installation and check. http://radified.com/ASPI/forceaspi.htm [bold]2) Same goes for a driver required here.[/bold] File 'Drivers\PXHELP20.SYS': [bold]Ver=?.?.?.?,[/bold] size=20640 bytes, created 4/25/2005 5:03:00 AM (Prassi/Veritas driver for win 2K) I believe to fix this you need to uninstall the IDE channel that your burner is connected to, reboot, the drive will be redetected and reinstalled on startup, reinstalling the driver.
