I have just tried to back up a copy of a movie, lets say its title is no1. Iam using nero Recode 2...Remake a DVD..imported title no1 to project, inserted new disk and clicked BURN. Problem, in the preview window it shows a completely different movie title, say no2 which I deleted from hd some time ago. I have run through the same process a number of times with SAME results. Yep have checked and rechecked contents of no1 it is the movie I want to back up.

I would have said that the old movie has not been deleted! Otherwise where would recode have found it?

Try a search for video files, it might turn up. Also the file will be of sustantial size, so just have a trawl around your files & find it that way.
