Iv'e been having problems with some programs and traced it to net frame, when I tried to reinstall it, It said I couldn't, when I tried uninstalling it, this happened, the same message showed up when I tried to re-install it. help, my progs won't work right.
One way to remove a program without using Add/Remove, is to do it yourself...aka, the same as an uninstaller would. Some programs leave critical uninstall information in a temp folder, but when you go to clean up your computer you delete those files...and run into what you have done. But, you can still remove that program. Delete the folders the program was installed to. Delete any folders related to that program in any temp folders, Documents and Settings folders or in the Common Files folder under Program Files. Then use a program like RegSeeker or CCleaner to remove any left over files in the registry. If you have to, search the registry using those tools' search function. The system should be clean enough for the install program to run again.
i understand were your coming from and thx, but I have tried removing progs manually before but when I go to remove the prog from the add remove programs it says it can't be deleted because some files are missing, and when I try to reinstall it won't I dont want to have to take the chance of losing everything on netframe and then not being able to use it period, so do u have another suggestion? thx
