I am not very good with hardware so Im seeking some help.

I need a new router as I think my current one has packed up as I am getting 1.1MBPS line on a 7.5MBPS line.

At the moment I have got my ADSL filter that goes into a black box lol (Im quite sure is also called a router) that then leads into my wireless router.

I have searched around for a new router but I cannot find one that has the right connection at the back, I need it to have 2 LAN connections and 1 of the smaller connections that the ADSL filter goes into. Can anyone please recommend a router that would be suitable for my needs.

where are you located country wise because in canada the filter only gets attached to phone jacks that the phones are connected to, not to the modem? the telephone line goes from the phone jack to the dsl modem then the ethernet cable goes from the dsl modem to the wan port of the router. talk to your internet provider about getting a combo unit modem/router possibly from speedstream.
