Hello! I tried to unlock my Nokia 6820, but messed things up. I Got the codes via DCT4. I guess I got cocky because I had just unlocked a 6590. Anyhow, I was trying to unlock and I had not noticed that an old deactivated ATT sim card was in the phone. Here is what I did: Left the ATT sim card in the phone. Tried Code #7 Tried COde #1 Realized I had left the sim card in and removed it. Tried Code #5 Powered the phone off and thought about it. POwered the phone on and tried code #1 I had no luck with all of this! I have one try left, I hope. Make/model phone: Nokia 6820 IMEI #:35296800157xxxx (edited) Country the phone is locked in: USA Provider the phone is locked to: ATT Any help with this would be great! Hopefully I haven't spoiled it already.
Thanks Nokias! I will try it. I came up with: #pw+117544240517244+1# #pw+479177204743276+2# #pw+446547672427143+3# #pw+199424627736320+4# #pw+222975250011175+5# #pw+434537267227634+6# #pw+026423657456327+7# My #7 is different than yours. Is that why I had the problem? I used DCT4
All, Thanks for the help on this! I actually called Cingular, who purchased ATT wireless. They are willing to give me the unlock code. I am gonna try that since I only have one more chance to try to unlock my phone. I didn't think they would give me the code, but a representative just called me to confirm they will send the code. She said they'll email it to me in the next 5 days. I mentioned that I'd paid over 150 for the phone when I got it, so maybe that is a key to getting the code, even if you are not with that carrier anymore. Figured you guys would want to know that is a possible option too, at least for US Cingular phones. I really appreciate you guys help here!
I would not trust the code from Cingular. I'm telling you this from 3 years of unlocking. They will send you a bad code just so that you will hardlock your phone and have to buy a new one. They are trained to do this. I also verify that (NOKIAS) code is correct. #pw+036373657456327+7#
