Help with patch

    I want to add some patches to The Sims 2 pc game. I'm not sure how to add the patches. Could someone please help with how to install pacthes (in general) or maybe there is a guide for this (I'm not able to find). Thank you for any help.

    1. Download the patch.

    2. Run the patch. (Almost all patches auto install for you)

    Thanks I did run the patch and it is not working. It is a patch for The Sims 2 "no cd". Goal is to have the game run without, having to put in the cd (game is loaded). I though I had to load the patch into a the folder that the game is stored on (or something). I tried that and it did not work.

    You need the real cd in when you update it, using a no-cd patch, then tring to update it will not work.
