Hey eveyone, I know that there are a ton of threads with problems for Spider chips, but i'm trying to get help for a specific problem I'm having. I got my Spiderchip installed correctly and it starts up fine, so that's all good. The problem I'm having is that I flashed the chip with the Linux-Cromwell bios, which I didn't want to do, I just wanted to load up a bios that would let me install Evox so I could put in my 160 GB hard drive and start to have fun with my Xbox. Not soon after I put the Linux-Cromwell bios on did I realized that I wasn't supposed to have done that if I wanted to put on Evox. Because of that, I'm now having a real hard time figuring out how to take off the damn Linux bios and undo my mistake. Do I have to install Linux onto my Xbox before I can get rid of it? I have a 1.3 Xbox and a 1.1 spider chip. What Evox bios should I reflash my chip with once I get rid of the Linux one? I know how to get Evox off of mIRC, so I'm all set with that. Any help that I could get would be outstanding! Thank you!
I am having the same problem....grrr 9 hours invested now. And still no response from spiderchip technical support. Did you ever find out anything?
