Help with satellite channels

    I live in Malta. I have a BigSat satellite receiver BS-S805 CI Xpeed. The problem is that every now and then I get scrambled channels. And to have it fixed I have to go back to the satellite shop to have it work again.

    I would like if someone could explain how to get the scrambled channels back. I don't understand anything about satellites and so I would appreciate if someone has the patience and experience to instruct me.

    Sorry mate, most of the people here live in Ireland or the UK, so we wouldn't know anything about Malta.

    But how can I update the software of the receiver to start watching scrambled channels again?
