I have modded a xbox using Ndure and hot swapping the hard drive. Upon start up it boots into unleashed dashboard. I have no tools install even though I selected then to be installed when modding. I would now like to install things like dvd2xbox but am having trouble doing so. I have tried to ftp the dvd2xbox files from another xbox into E:/apps with no success. Unleashed just doesn't see them, with a little reseacrh I see maybe editing the .ini file might help but i don't have any ini files or none that I can find. Tried d/l aide v4.3 burnt disk twice with seemingly no errors yet niether of them boot. Any help appreciated.
AID takes time to load. I would experiment with it. I heard so much about other installers and said hey why not give them a shot and I ended up with pretty much the same garbage problems as you. Try different blank media. What ever DVD drive you have may not be reading the media you are using. Can you play any other discs? OOOPPPSSS!!! I just realized this was old. AID is the best!
