Help with sound

    After using dvd2avi program, i use tmpge and i can find my video source but how do i find my audio source. Is it something i am not doing with dvd2avi, or is it something i am doing wrong with tmpge. I am new at this so please help thanks.

    DVD2AVI creates a wav file in the same directory as the project file (make sure you 'decode' in dvd2avi). You can read that into tmpgenc.

    Thanks for thew help i now have got it. I do have another question.How can you seperate the chapters when converting to mpeg using tmpgenc?

    Not sure if I understand the question. Are you asking how to set chapters for an mpeg file because you wish to view it on a standalone player after burning to a vcd or dvd?

    If so, chapters are set using an authoring program (dvdit, vcdeasy, etc), not tmpgenc.

    That was my question. Thank you i tried to use vcdeasy and it wouldnt work with my burner. I will try the other program, if you know of one that i can use to set chapters and then re save as an mpeg let me know please. thanks
