Help with Starview box please - you were all there once!!

Got my starview box the other day and followed the instructions for scanning channels. I put in all the latest codes and made sure key emu was on.

still struggling to get any channels other than freeview ones. am i doing something wrong or is there something else maybe.

am on cable, with a t******t connection taken over by V****n

anyone help please - ben

 

What firmware do you have on it? Press menu and system info and post what it says.

I am still here as well we have not gone anywhere at present

 

have you turned on the EMU? key in 1570 at the menu screen and you will be brought to a secret menu, turn on EMU and it should work OK

Just a quick question , where have you got your incoming cable plugged into ?

Ant in or Cable input ?

 

hi all got new box today scanned channels , found all , then when to switch EMU on and password 1570 would not bring up secret menu tried 2006 and 0000 ,version 2.57 can anyone help

hi celtic , i have 2 box already which I set up and used 1570 to switch EMU on, these new box's will not open secret menu at all , tried 1570 0000 2006 , is there any more codes ..

 

Ok I need to know if you have a clone or genuine

Clone = 18x7 vents and genuine = 25x7 vents

you might need to update the firmware

 

try master reset code 1668

 

my god - you guys move fast - im not even sure who is replying to who - my cable is plugged into cable input - not sure about vents or firmware - clone or genuine??

ben look on the top of your box there are vents on it count them down how many are there

hi celtic got 25X7 vents , same as my other 2 boxs

 

try master reset code 1668 override code

and will you stick to one thread as scouser has told ya already

 

BENJID press menu key in 1570 anf turn on EMU

still no success with both box's got today - tried all codes and followed troubleshooting information .. if i download new software will thsi work
