Folks, I’m looking for some help! I got my hands on a starview box last week and have been trying to get it working to no avail. I have read as much information on this site dealing with anything similar to where I am and what I’m hoping to do. I’m sure this has been answered before and I’ve seen a message where someone has been told to look back at all messages himself. I have looked but still can’t seem to do what I need. The background is living in Co. Kildare Ch***s is my provider. For starters I don’t have the option to select Ch***s when I’m setting up the box. Also I must be doing something wrong when I’m trying to use the control to change setting, the parental lock is not highlighted so I cant select to change any setting. Anyone any ideas? Am I doing something basic, wrong?? I dont have a clue. Regards.
Send a pm to Fergusrb he has the exact same set up as you and has all the info you need. He is also in your area and you need to input provider id and frequencies manually if you have a Starview 1.
