    i have just recently aquired an E815 and the usb data cable, i installed MPT version 3.23 and followed the instructions on another forum. my problem is that i cannot uplload any picture or songs to my phone, i can only download my phone book. when i go to C:\Program Files\mobile PhoneTools and go to MMCenter.exe (which i can only access this way) and i try to send a song to the phone as an MP3 format i can't, it wont allow me because all i have there is the MMS Studio, no melody or anything. can some one help me figure out why i am unable to do this?

    You said you 'followed the directions' and I assume that means youve already hacked the phone to give you multimedia access. In that case, in MPT:
    <f6>
    Communications tab
    [change modem] [next]
    Highlight Motorola USB Modem [next]
    Put a -check- next to 'Do not automatically..' [next]
    Highlight Motorola CDMA & choose E815m from the list (NOT e815) [next]
    [finish] [ok]

    I got my e815 to connect to MPT but I don't get access to the picture and music suites? Do I have to hack something to put ringtones on this phone?
    Thanks,
    sandy

    Yeah, thanks to the Godfather I am there. Verizon apparently disables the Image area of MPT on their phones but apparently that is'nt too hard to fix.
    Thanks
