I have a MS25 drive and I have noticed this since the 3.3 release so I dont think it is the firmware. But when I put a disc in my tray whether it be a DVD Video or Game of any kind my original or a backup, the tray goes in then comes back out and then I tell it to go back in and then it ejects and then I tell it to go back in and it will read but it takes a few times to play with it. Also sometimes when I first turn my console on and try to eject the tray it will hang and if I push the tray door it comes out. Anyone else have these issues? If so do you know a fix? Thanks a lot guys!
Hi, I am experiencing a similar problem. My drive literally takes 5-25 times of pressing the eject button for it to open. It just jams and doesn't come out. It opens about 0.5mm each time until it loosens up and ejects.
sounds like when you took it apart the button got stuck, try to take it back apart and put it back right
