Try only once but the IMEI you have here doesn't look like USA T-Mobile. Please make sure before entering the code.

You'll hardlock it to the original network.

It will only work with T-Mobile only if that's who it's locked to unless you take or send it to a professional for unlocking.

What makes you think it's locked to T-Mobile? I understand the Cingular sim doesn't work but I need to know what sim will work in the phone. If it's possible to get a T-Mobile sim from someone, put it in the phone and see if it works. I really don't think it's locked to T-Mobile but I'm not positive.

ok i am trying to unlock a t mobile nokia phone.
i tried tons of codes on it. now ever time i enter one
i got to restart it by turning it off then on.
i have tried the codes on the used cingular sim card.
i have a t mobile sime card. and the phone words.
i have a new un used cingular sim card.

does it only allow me to try 5 times on a sim card?

Yes, if you have entered 5 wrong codes and got any message that says code error or you are seeing phone restricted after you enter the code, it's hardlocked.

    #pw+808401124636610+5#

    1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
    2. Press the UNDO option
    3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
    4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)

It's not the sim that gives you the chances, it's the phone. It only allows 5 chances and after that, it will only work with the original network. You can take or send it to have it unlocked directly and that runs about $20 to $30

Keep the sim you have because nothing is wrong with it. You just need the phone unlocked to work with Cingular and codes aren't going to work since so many have been entered. Sorry but I don't have yahoo and the reason for the slow responses is because it's storming here and my DSL sux when it's lightning.

It's not going to work. The phone will have to be hooked up diretly and flashed and cleared and unlocked. If I could make it work, I would but there is nothing else I have for it.
