This will be long and probally annoying...sorry.

First of all I thought had the burning thing mastered using only Shrink and Decrypter, then I got a new comp, and now I am lost again. Yes I tried using the guide: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd9_to_dvdr_with_dvd_shrink.cfm

first I will give you the differences in my systems.
Old: Compaq Presario, Athalon CPU 533 mhz, 9 gig hard drive,256 RAM, File system=Fat32....Burner Khypermedia 8x

New: Dell Demension, Pentium 4 CPU 2.00 GHz, 74 gig hard drive, 256 RAM, File system=NTFS...Burner Sony 16xDVD+R Single Layer

Now with this being said I know that having different file systems makes a difference I just don't know what those differences are. What I am trying to burn is both Blade Trinity, and National Treasure. I followed the guide to the T, and used Nero to get the Video_ts files, and National Treasure burned fine but when I tried it in my player (sony also) it said "disk is dirty" I cleaned it and still got the same message. Then I burned Blade Trinity (or tried to anyway)and this time I chose to verify the disk and got an error. I saved the log from Nero:

Forgot to mention that the media I am using is HP Invent 8x. These are the only ones I have ever used and I have used roughly 100, and never had any problems. Thanks

Not a highly recommended manufacturer for dvd media. They do cause a lot of problems. You can have numberous errors on your backup, especially burning at 8x.

You've got a different burner, therefore, your stand alones are going to play them different.I had a khypermedia +8x in my new pc when I got it,but my apex player wouldn't play the backups from it. A new benq 1620 took care of it. Different burners, different lasers= some stand alones can be pickier on which burner's backups they will play. The usual "no disc/dirty disc" errors will occur meaning it is likely a compatability issue.Sometimes switching to a higher quality media and a 4x burnspeed may take care of it.

8x burn speed is pretty fast, especially on cmags. I burn a few,but I burn them at 2.4x,not the recommended 8x like the mfgs list. Again, poor media has to be burned slower.

Was this the original copy you tried to backup or was it a copy you were trying to re-rip for another copy?

The burn log said successful so:
How do those backups look when you view them on your new pc using the sony dvdrw drive-the drive that produced those backups?
