Hi, lately I've been using WinAVI vieo converter version 6.3 to convert MP4 files to AVI files--it works better then the higher versions. However, lately, for no reason that I can find, it's stoppped working. After trying to convert any file, I get an error that says "WinaVI has encountered a problem and needs to close." After looking further in detail, it seems the error has something to do with a digital product ID. I'm not sure what this is, but if it has anything to do with my registeration for this thing--I bought it so that wouldn't make sense. Anyone know what's going on? I last used this about a month ago and it was working fine, and I don't remember changing my computer in a drastic way since then. I downloaded some codecs, but I've tried testing those since I got the error. Also, I try converting the MP4 to avi file with a version 7.6, but instead I get an error that says "Division by zero." What on earth does that mean? Am I getting an internet meme for a software error?
The .mp4 file can be played perfectly ono your pc,right? Have you ever tried v7.7 of winavi? If do that,make sure you have uninstalled old version completely. Or what about your meaning about"a digital product ID"?
