Okay, first of all this is my first post here...so don't flame me if it's in the wrong spot. I am trying to make an archive with winrar, that matches the one that someone is seeding through bittorrent(so I can help seed it). So my question is, how do I control how big the volumes or parts of the archive are. For instance, the torrent that is up is 54 parts and they are all 14,119KB. And everytime I try to make an archive in volumes they are much smaller. Any help would be great, thanks. p.s. I'm using winrar 3.0
after youve selected the files and right clicked "add to archive...." the 'split to volumes' down the bottom left is one way to do it.
Thanks hex64, I feel really stupid now. I saw this feature already but did not know that you could type in whatever size you wanted. I thought there were only preset sizes. Thanks bro
lol, no problem mate. i think the hardest part of your battle will be importing it into the other torrent that your wanting help seed. i can image alot of problems along the way but im sure its a winnable battle, good luck.
