OK, I'm a big newb to this, so please bear with me. I've installed the Ltools Splinter Cell exploit fine and have even uninstalled with success for when I get on Live. But today as I was reinstalling the EvoX dashboard, I made the stupid mistake of turning off my Xbox before I was told to do so. Now, I can't install either the MXM or EvoX dashboards. My default MS dashboard is still present and OK, but I can't get the softmod on anymore. Whenever I attempt to install one of the dashboards, Linux will begin to tell me certain files can't be installed now because they're read-only. I also will sometimes will get actionscript errors when I try to install or uninstall UDE. Please help with this matter in a very simple and understandable explanation because like I said I'm a newb to this.
OK, I've been investigating my problem through some googling, and I believe that I caused my xbox hd to lock up and go to read-only. Is there anyway I can restore it (restoring C drive from ltools doesn't do it, so don't suggest it) without deleting my gamesaves?
