Hello! Sorry, I did do a search and couldn't find the answer I was looking for. But anyway... I have a softmodded xbox, and I want to use my Xbox Wireless Adapter for it. The problem is, I don't know how to set it up without the CD (When I bought the adapter, it came with no CD or guide, just the starter's guide). I have a Microsoft Wireless-G Base Station MN-700 which works wonderfully with my PSP and NDS. Another problem is I don't have access to my Microsoft Dashboard anymore. I don't know where I put my back up, and all I have on my C drive is xboxdash, and evox. So I couldn't boot up my original dash. I tried following the guide here: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xtf-link-msdash.php And the files like xbox book, ect. I don't have. In other words. Is there a way to configure my Xbox Wireless Adapter to connect to the internet without having the CD or the orginal dash. And show me how to set it up perfectly. Thanks! PS: I just got the thing today, and while it was coming from California, I was still trying to find a guide, and it looks like that other people were able to get it to work on their xboxes too. PSS: What's on the CD that comes with the equipment anyway? Dash updater? An actual settings disk?
any reponse on this? I think Im having the same problem, I cannot install the dashboard from the CD (it tells me that there is a problem with my XBOX) and I may have screwed up my dashboard trying to uninstall my softmod What does the install CD install, can I get those files from somewhere else, alternatively can I get original XBOX files to uninstall the softmod?
