    i download and movie and want to burn it on cd-r, the movie has 3 part, the download files are .rar file, the 3rd part is too large for the disk, so how do i break it into 2 parts or compress it to fit on on disk

    Use VirtualDub (it's free) and slit it in two files. You cannot compress it, unless the difference between the file size and the CD-R is a few MB.

    i tried vitualdub but i get an error message about mpeg filtering

    You would have to completely re-encode with something like TMPGEnc!
