My son was softmodding his Xbox and at somepoint he accidentally deleted the C: of the Xbox. The problem is, he didn't back it up so now we have an Xbox with nothing on the C: and nothing backed up to fix it. Is there a way to fix this??

    thanx,

    TOny

wow what an idiot, from my experience you now have to (if possible, i doubt you can) FTP into your xbox and put in an unmodded dash (C:/) and delete the E: folder and the contents of X,Y and Z then that should have worked, if not then you will have to either:

    A) Goto a shop that deals with repairs and dish out $50 for a repair

    Or

    B) Hotswap

i am not sure if you need a modded Xbox to use this but
there is a program called Slayer 2.6
you can reformat and reinstall everything including the dashboards.
but i suggest that he FTP's his game saves to the PC first
because when you reformat, everything goes bye bye

can someone who knows confirm if you need a modded xbox'to use Slayer 2.6? Mine was premodded so i never really checked into it since mine will do just about anything i could want
