HELP!!

    I'm having trouble burning with Nero, im trying to burn a Memorex 16x DVD-R with Nero 7 and before it even starts burning it pops up an error, I'm guessing it's just the media though since I can burn a Staples DVD-RW just fine with the exact same iso.... heres the log:

    You are right about it being the disk.

    Then it goes on to report

    Thats a +r speed so it must see the disk as +r instead of the -r that it is. Therefore writing the leadin is failing.

    Well, is there anything I can do to fix it? Because it's a brand new 50 pk...

    btw, I also tried it at 2x and that didn't work either...

    At this time I dont think there is anything you can do to fix it. The write stratigie seems to be wanting to write to it as a +r (if I am not mistaken). The only thing that will fix that will be newer firmware. I think you have the newest at the moment for your drive.

    Ya, I have the newest firmware, guess I'll just hafta get different dvd's

    Sorry couldnt be more help. Maybe wheu a newer firmware is released you can use them up. I say try to stay away from memorex because you never know who makes them for memorex.
