    Hey everybody,
    I have recently started a thread called HELP PLEASE
    it is near the top of this forum, somebody was helping me out lastnight with my xbox, he isnt online at the moment but i think my time zone is different to his and i wont be up all night again to talk to him. is there anybody that can help me finish the procedure?

    If it helps i already have the xbox open, and my 80gb hdd is almost ready to put in. really just wanted to know if i need to save any info off the hdd that is standard in the xbox or just take it straight out. i dont know how to FTP or anything like that. But if i take the original hdd out and put a formatted 80gb hdd in with the AID disc in the rom is that all i need? will it still load up if i have a blank hdd in it?
