I just reformated my comp last week, now i found this problem; everytime i leave my comp on for a day or so, my wmp doesnt work(said something bout cant play this file) and theres no sound coming from my speakers. But when i rebooted it, everything is fine.
moved. uninstall the sound card in device manager than restart windows to see if corrects problem. check motherboard site or soundcard site for updated drivers.
