ok i just bought an ar. i need to know how to mod. ive downloaded files but i cant put them on the ar bcuzevrytime i do it says its not a valid save file or soemthing like that. if anyone can help me email me, repost with ur answer or email me at boomman2000@msn.com or u can im me on yahoo im: nvrforgetsep11 thanks
Then maybe it's not an AR save. Maybe you have to extract it. PS. Your not allowed to have email addresses.
Okay... so you have action replay great! Then you going to have to get one of these 3 games splintercell, mechassult, or 007. THen once you have of that... download the SID 4.0 from one of the tutorials at the top of the forums... then just follow everything it has. Near the top there should be a link to SID 4.0 with game saves click that and download into your computer. Once done that, get Winrar, if you dont have it already, and extract the .rar then it *should* become a .zip file. Then you would then grab the main installer and the game save of the game that you are using and drag that into action replay. For splintercell there are 2 please choose the right file (NTSC OR PAL). Turn on xbox... copy the *2* files, then turn it off. Then turh the xbox back on put in the game you are using. Load the profile... *LINUX* then it should smooth sailing from there!!! P.S Don't forget to make a MS backup and a EEPROM Backup. THen click install softmod from the main SID 4.0 main scrrn then it will say a whole bunch of differnet stuff... click okay... Basically just do what and exacly what it has and you will be softmodding in *NO Time* PEACE!!!! PM me if you have any problems or if you want to add me to your xbox live friends list....
