The scan mode was changed to progressive and my TV doesn't support it, but now I can't get it back to interlace. I can hear it, but there is no video and the display or setup buttons won't work. Can someone please help me. I unplugged it thinking that would reset it, but that didnt work, unless I didn't leave it unplugged long enough.
you should be able to reset the machine to factory defaults ,leave it unplugged several mins and press the the FF/power button for several seconds. check the owners manual
Thanks, but I got it fixed. Even though I couldn't see anything, I just pushed the arrows to get to the point in the menu where I could restore factory defaults. Once I clicked yes to where I hoped it would be, the picture came back on. There has to be an easier way though.
