HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone help me I accidentally touched my ipod to the magnet thats in my cell phone pouch. Now its messed up. I tried to reformat it using HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool but it says that it is copyright protected.
and i tried using the itunes program to work and it keeps on saying that I have an error 1418. I also put my ipod in disk mode to try to reformat it but it still won't work. Im running out of ideas please can someone help me!!!!!!!!

 

Seems like you have messed up the hard drive with the magnet.

 

So then What do you Suggest I do? Is there a tool that I can download to fix the problem?

 

When I try to format the ipod on my computer it freezes then i have to reset the ipod. Then it takes a while for my computer to recognize that the ipod. When i use the usb disk storage to format the ipod it says that it is copyright protected. how can i go around that? if someone can help me it would really be appreciated. I don't want to have a $250 paper weight.

 

do u still have the warranty on it?
