helpppppp!

k so 2 days ago i downloaded a lot of songs from limewire..anyways
tht night my computer started making weird noises like a lot and my light thing on my ccomp that says its "thinking" is always on..
so i turned off my comp to let it "rest" and now [i dont know if this was before i turned off my computer too] my CD-ROM drive wont open...like the place were i puts cds...and i have a cd in there...i tried opening it from the button on my keyboard and the button next to the drive--its not working...
i dont know what to do =[

I don't know much things about that except i've heard some people saying that downloading by limewire gets you lots of viruses and other bad things like that.But don't take my words as granted,i'm only saying what i've heard.It can be another problem.

 

This should fix it..

On your drive there should be a litle hole somewhere.. like the size of a pin. Get a pin/paper cip and then push it in. This will open the drive via the "emergency open". Take out the cd and restart your PC

Hopefully everything will be normal again and the noise will have gone. Drives can be very noisy sometimes, especially with a CD in them.

I told him to just reboot and hit the eject button when the bios screen flashes up. That always does it for me.
