Hey all, This may be in the wrong forum im not sure really and im to lazy to look for the write 1 so this will have to do... lol I have 2 pcs at home happily networked with a crossover cable. On my main box i have some files which i accidentaly downloaded for a MAC. well as chance may have it i happen to be the unproud owner of an IBook and i thought that since i have a mac i may aswell make use of these mac files. and here is where i have the problem. The only way i have of getting the files from my PC to the Mac is over my network. and i have no idea how to network a PC to a Mac. ive tried a few programs that are supposed to help me do this but to no avail. Anybody offer any help on this 1? the mac specs are as follows 500MHz G3 processor 256MB PC133 Ram Onboard 8Meg Graphics (nothing else worth mentioning)
what good is sending them to gmail if i cant get my mac onto the network to access the net? what i need is a surefire way to network my pc to my mac and share files. its either that or im going to have to buy a large flashdisk or external HD... which i dont really want to do just to put files on a mac
