Two different but similar things, actually...I've tried searching and checking out the guides, and maybe I don't know what I'm looking at, and maybe I don't know what to look for....anyways, here's what I want to do.... 1) take multiple avi's and burn them to a dvd as "scenes" so when you press "play movie" it plays them all in consecutive order, but there's a "scene selection" option to play individual ones... 2) take a full-movie-length avi and split it into scenes to then burn to dvd as in #1 above... I hope I explained that properly...in the mean time I'm going to keep searching the forums and reading the guides...TIA for any help
Hi there, Give VSO ConvertXtoDVD a try. It can convert all your .AVI and burn them to a single DVD. Each file will be an entry in the DVD Menu. [X] Sequential Playback will make the next one start automaticly after one an other. By default, it will create you a chapter each 5 minutes, so you can jump back or ahead 5 minutes into the video using your chapter key on your DVD remote. Now your next question, take an .AVI and break it into smaller pieces. Why would you want to do that ?
OK, I will do that Is that a separate program or part of ConvertXtoDVD? To create chapters, and add the scene selection ability like above, or can I use that [X]Sequential Playback on a full length movie? How do I make a menu where I can choose between play movie and scene selection, or would I find that in the above programs? Also, I probably should have stated earlier, I use Nero 7 Premium for my burning, so if there's any parts of that that might help me out...I haven't been able to fully explore Nero 7 yet... Thank you for the help
Thanks cougar_ii I'm now reading the guide How To Convert Video Files To DVD Using VSO ConvertXtoDVDand I'm answering most of my questions....thanks again for the point in the right direction
