hey can some give me some assistance

    allright yeah im a noob but can anyone help me

    i have two problems

    1. I was a idot and i went and crouppetd my c drive
    2. i want more harddrive space

    PS if its not asking to much can someone tell me how to make XBMC my default dashboard

    Sounds like you royally screwed up!

    I'd say a full format is what you'll be needing!

    You need to salvage your eeprom first.

    Go get that and then rebuild your HDD.

    All of these processes can be found in my tutorials!

    Use AID v4.10 to install the operating dashboard (XBMC)

    xbmc wiki describes xbmc as dashboard quite nicely. I use the premade shortcut method. takes about 5 min. will help if you cant figure it out

    hey chunkhead i tried xboxhdm to add a f drive and fix my c drive but my xbox harddrive would not unlock the only error code i got was 7 i heard if u get that error code your harddrive is still locked

    Error 7 means that your HDD has died or is not plugged in correctly!

    Check all the cables, even replace the IDE cable and see if it still gives you the error. If it's still at Error 7 you need a new HDD!

    what i was trying to say was when i connected the harddrive by follwing the instructions for a Xboxhdm tutorial my harddrive would not be recognized by xboxhdm ? but i did everything right?

    my xbox ver. is 1.6

    yes i did. Does anyone of a Xboxhdm Video that would really help, i have a question could i use ConfigMagic to unlock my harddrive then WITHOUT rebooting my xbox connect it to Xboxhdm ?

    Stay away from ConfigMagic, guaranteed to ruin your Xbox!

    The Hotswap process doesn't need a video, the pics are pretty good.

    Try a different PC
