hey guys i need to rebuild my ps2

    guys i need to rebuild my ps2 laser there is a 400-B a v12 laser and a 400-c wat do they mean and wat should i get my ps2 is 4 years old its a model SCPH30001 ac120v 60Hz 79w please help i think its going to stop playing my games soon cause the laser doesnt work to good

    How many screws are on the console, meaning how many do you have to unscrew.

    if it has 8 screws its 400B laser ($49.95)

    if it has 10 screws. there are 3 versions. Read the first 2 digits of your serial number.

    if its U0 its 400B
    if its U1 its 400B these work with v1-v4 not v5 or v7
    if its U2 its 400B
