Hey everybody. Im having a bit of a problem a the moment, wondering if anybody could help. I used to be able to play DVD's fine in my DVD player on my laptop, though lately - I bought and installed the latest version of Nero to burn a load of DVD's Ive been meaning to do for ages. I installed the program, and things were running fine, though yesterday for the first time I got round to burning a DVD, and now I have - whenever I put a DVD in my drive to play - the picture and sound just continually skip. Ive tried playing in several programs - Windows Media Player, Nero, PowerDVD - but to no avail. The only thing I have done different than normal, is burn a DVD in the mean time. My laptop is only 2 months old -surely the drive hasnt broke after one burn?! The only thing I can think of - is when i burnt my DVD yesterday - i set it to burn in long play, so i could fit more on the disk. I tried it out on my laptop after it was burnt to see if it worked - and it worked fine. Now though, this problem with the skipping sound and picture - just wondering if its maybe trying to play these in long play?! Is that a stupid thing to say?! I really have no idea whats wrong though!? Any help would be great! Thanks a lot! Paul.
