hi i have downloaded a few movies and i cant play them or burn them 2 my blank dvd 4.7 gig blanks . wot programs should i use. one of the movies i have downloaded is in avi format , and i have tryed using my philips dvd r9 re-writer and every time the disc is done wen i go to play it in my dvd player it ses ther is nothing on the dvd:S and the other to dvd movies are kvcd format can any1 help me PLEEEEZ and could they make a guide for me as i am very new to this . thanks(Y)
Best you start by taking a look at the [bold]GUIDES[/bold] ... ! See that tab Guides --- up there -- click on it and it will take you to a full set of instructions that beginners should look at! For Example -- you said one of the movies is an [bold]AVI[/bold] -- well there is a guide there called :- [bold]How to convert [bold]AVI files (DivX, XviD etc.) to DVD with Avi2DVD[/bold] Those guides are well put together and will most of the time give you all you need to get things done ! Yep, as jeanc1 said.. and also the disc you burned may not be blank.. just it won't play in your dvd player as most dvd players won't play avi's, divx etc... only dvd players that say they can play those formats. You can most likely play that disc on your PC, but as jean said.. to play it on your dvd player you'll have to convert it to dvd format. good luck with it
