hi i have a starview box its the first one not a clone and with 400 ee firmwere on it from jun 2007 and everytime i try to put in the codes it just turns it self off. do anyone know wat might be up with it thanx

 

hi the firmware will no longer work. you need the new firmware . alot of people have the first box and are still waiting for the new firmware.it seems that we are the last on the list to be done.so until they do manage to do it we will have to wait........

 

is there going to b a fix for sv 1 and 2???

 

We can hope but I'm not very optimistic. The norm with manufacturers is to reduce their support levels for their older products so that it encourages people to buy their newer products and leaves them in a better position to provide support for their newer models. I know the original box is not very old but there are still a lot of newer models.

Maybe soon we will be told that it is not possible to create a bin file for the old box.

there is talk on other sites that there will be no new firmware for the starv?><W 1. alot for people are very pis?ed off about this but i hope the gods do fined a fix. if it the case that they dont do a fix so we go and buy the new box i think its unfair, as i have lost my job before xmas and cannot afford the new boxes and im sure most people are in the same boat.

 

It would be nice to be kept up to date with whats occuring at the moment.
We have been told to be patient and wait for firmware,but it would be appreciated if anyone could update us on the situation regarding st****ew 1&2.
As I read more threads I get the impression that maybe a firmware can not be found for these.
Dont get me wrong I can imagine how difficult this must be and how time consuming it is,but just a few messages of hope would be nice.
