I recently bought a PS2 off ebay for parts to fix up and add a hard drive so I can boot my ripped games off of it and I discovered while repairing it there was a modchip and I did research on different modchips until I confirmed It was a DMS3 modchip because it operates the same and It looks exactly the same. The PS2 now is fully functional and I think since it is a rare modchip (from what I heard) and I think I could get a good profit off of it.

yeah that's a DMS3 .. nice reasonably tidy install (not by me.. I did hundreds and ruined my eyes)

as for value.. well what did you pay for your ps2?.. The chips aren't worth much.. the HDD network board thing is worth more and everybody just uses the stick exploit.. nobody burns disks.. I have something like 10 left over from back in the day along with some xecuter2/3's (not for sale.. don't ask) which have occasional uses fixing the dreaded error21..

More sought after than gold & far more rare is the xecuters. I pity the fools that have none , #dr evil laugh
