can anyone help me step by step please i`m a bit of a dummy when it comes too this for chorses ireland thank ye ye have been so helpfull in the past.
hi mikedone you need an null medem cable 9 pin female both ends. most most modern computers only have a usb socket at the back,if yours is like that you will need a asb adaptor also. connect 1 end of null modem cable to your maxv, other end joins with usb adaptor, and finaly usb adaptor in to computer in the first socket on the left that it fits in to. then on this site go to eko4shared downloading,where you search and find eurovox firmware. look for maxv and files called ufl-maxv-kuro3 and a date with it maybe 18/4/08.download this file to your pc.this file is probably a zip file which means you must un zip it with software, i downloaded peazip opens most things.when this is opened click on this file and run it,it not only contains the software needed but the loader also.the loader should open when clicked click on flash{put box in standby before doing this}.software should load it self wait for a flash complete message, remove null modem cable from box.go in to menu find powerscan scan chorus,you may need to enter 6875 to help the box find chorus. when scan is done find sky sports,then once more press menu/language/type in 1968 on the screen you will see emu capture disable switch this to enable press save if you have to and then exit back to sky sports and wait for it to unscramble but leave it on sky sports. if you did this correctly sky sports should unscramble in a bit.let me if i can help again.
