Hide and seek

    Ok here we go again...after all the fun we had with HITCH I thought I had this down. But Now I cant get hide and seek to work...anyone else having problems with this one? this is now movie number 2, out of like....200!

    dvd43 and shrink dvd, and dvd decrypter. Im still farting with the latter

    What's the error you getting?
    Also as squizzle stated give the programs used.
    I had no problems with AnyDVD and Recode. There was no special copy protection on this disc that Decrypter shouldn't be able to handle.

    I/O error
    so far just read errors.
    When I used shrink..it froze at about %49
    I remember the same with Hitch but this is different, I didnt have a prob with dvd decryp before....

    I agree I just tried this title with dvd decrypter dvd shrink combo also worked with dvd-rb what part of the process is bugging you I assume you have a log? good luck ok you beet me to the punch are you using decrypter or shrink to rip?

    I always preffer to try dvd decrypter b4 I post that way I can give the log.

    I/O errors usually mean there is something wrong with the disc - scratched, dirty, bad pressing etc.
    Try cleaning it. If that doesn't work try movie only (the 4 alternate endings weren't that great anyhow. All that fails you should exchange for a new one.

    this movie doesnt have any new protection(sony) it only has css. if u cant copy it with decrypter u probably need to try another disc. in the last few months ive had a few of these(bad pressing)

    thanks guys.. Im ripping assassination of nixon now and all is good. I think I will run back to the vid store for a different coppy of hide and seek and see if that is the case. the disk looks good but who am I to judge. I dont have laser vision..lol. BTW thank for the promptness of your replies. much appreciated!!
