I've worked in the cable business for a little while, I'm out of it now.
I came across a few houses that had there whole home theater system hidden behind a wall or in a cabinet in a differant room in their house.
They had a hidden l.e.d. in the room that ran to thier electronics and the eye was placed over the l.e.d. of each component. I was woundering what the name of this technology is called, and where I can find more information about this? has this been introduced to blue tooth technology yet? or are they running lines to the equipment from the living room?

    Your correct

My uncle has that installed in his house, he has all inwall mounted speakers, 60" dlp, and all the componets are in a closet about 15 feet away from the living room, there is a main IR reciever, which i believe can control up to 8 devices(tv,reciever, cablebox, dvdplayer, ect,
ect). And the other tranciever is in the closet. It recieves the signals via one cable i belive. And theres, 8 dif IR transmitters, that you put in front of each device, or any where in the room where all the componets are, and they individually recieve the signals from the remote, my uncle choose a touch screen lcd one.
