high definition

    Can someone show me how to watch the WMV HD format on my tv? The setup is supposed to be using a PC, playing the video on the tv display. I'm just not sure how to get the picture on the widescreen and how it all works. I have a 57" HD widescreen SONY. Resoltuion for this format comes in 720p and 1080p. ATI AIW card.

    Hi, im really not too familiar with HTPC - Firstly you will need to have a graphics card that supports something like DVI out, if you do thats great. Then connect the DVI output from the graphics card to the DVI input of the HDTV. If your TV doesnt have a DVI input, there are adapters to convert it.

    One thing i believe is that you need to set the resolution that your computer outputs to the same native resolution of the TV, otherwise the picture may not be correct. Best asking your question in either of the fourms below as they would be able to help you more:
